Top 10 Characters Who Haven't Been In The MCU Yet - Part 2

Since our last review on the Top 10 Characters Who Haven't Been In The Marvel Cinematic Universe Yet we realized that we were still missing some pretty cool characters, so we went ahead and did a part 2 so that they could have their chance in the spotlight. Now if only Marvel Studios would be so kind to give them the time of day as well! So let's take a look at the Top 10 Characters Who Haven't Been In The MCU Yet.

10. WE HAVE AMERICA CHAVEZ

Although America Chavez, who has taken up the moniker of Miss America, has been in Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors, she has yet to appear in the MCU. With our fascination of the flawed teenage superhero struggling to balance everyday life with being an extraordinary puncher and flyer, a movie starring her is sure to succeed and captivate hearts young and old. Plus, how awesome would it be to have a LGBT character a Latin American character take the center stage for a solo film?

9. ANGELA

While we received Hela in Thor Ragnarok as Thor's sister, he has actually got a sister named Angela who has yet to make an appearance in the MCU, despite being just as cool as her brother. She was originally Image comics property and involved in the Spawn storyline, but now has been established as the long-lost daughter of Odin and Freyja. Despite her godly descent, she has been a member of the guardians of the galaxy and we could easily see her fitting back in and you know, now that they seem to have lost their female anchor.

8. HOBGOBLIN

There have been some pivotal Spiderman villains introduced in Homecoming and to be explored further in Far from Home, but no mention of the Hobgoblin yet, a spiderman villain who has left his mark on the hero time and time again. This may not be right to do without re-introducing the green goblin, which is a tough act to follow from the Sam Raimi films. However, Ned leeds was one of the hobgoblins, and Ned is Peter's best friend in the mcu. Juuuust something to keep an eye out for.

7. YELENA BELOVA

Who, with the new blond do, the first Black Widow is strongly resembling now weirdly enough. Yelena is the second Black Widow, and was raised under the same conditions as Natasha Romanoff. She was even pitted against Natasha and then taken under Natasha's wing at one point, so what we would love to see is perhaps Yelena becoming the villain in a long overdue Black Widow solo film.

 6. WONDERMAN

He is not a rip off of Wonderwoman; Wonderman is an ionic-powered villain turned hero who is cool enough in his own right. Just happens to have a similar name. The character was set to appear in guardians of the galaxy volume 2 played by Nathan Fillion, but his scenes were unfortunately snipped. The opportunity is still there, however; he has also got a long history as a competitor to Stark Industries, which is another doorway wide open for possibility.

 5. CAPTAIN BRITAIN

No, he also isn't a knock off of a pre-existing hero. Especially because, you know, they are owned by the same company. With Captain America actor Chris Evans talking about retirement from the mcu, the search is on for another patriotic and natural born leader. It would be fun to get other countries involved as well, seeing as the whole snappening thing was a worldwide phenomenon. You know those Brits, they may have better ways of dealing with pandemic crises!

 4. DOCTOR DOOM

While Dr. Doom is the arch nemesis of the fantastic 4, he has come into contact with enough other Marvel heroes that he could totally be re-purposed as someone else's villain. He has actually got a solo film apparently in the works, written by Noah Hawley. Hawley says the screenplay is written in its entirety but does need work; he is just waiting to see how the Disney Fox merger deal plays out and if Disney has any plans for the character on their own.

3. SILVER SURFER

On the note of Fantastic 4, the herald of Galactus Silver Surfer was also forbidden territory until the merger took place. Now he is the second most interesting character under the whole Fantastic 4 umbrella, and one people would love to see make an appearance and yes, I have been reading your comments. This would also likely require the inclusion of Galactus, but such an entity wouldn't make much appearance and it would be similar to how Dormammu was included in doctor Strange. Regardless, we hope to see that iconic surfboard at some point.

 2. SPIDER WOMAN

Jessica Drew has yet to receive much time in the spotlight, and we are not sure why. Perhaps it's the common misconception that she is just the female version of Spiderman, but she is actually a completely different character. Her spidery powers lie in her bio energy that exudes from her palms, things she calls venom blasts despite venom not actually being involved in the material. She has got a long history with Hydra and Shield, which also makes her prime material for the MCU's next phase.

1. SENTRY

Wrapping up our list is a character who has received flack for being a Superman knock-off, but the more we learn about him, the less this seems accurate. He is a deeply flawed individual whose dark side awakens into something known as the Void, his main enemy, every time the Sentry uses his powers for good. This could make for a very interesting story with the right writing. Themes may end up being a little more intense than what we are used to in the MCU, but if you are looking for some darkness, you have found it.
